OUR STORY
Whenever there is a shooting and lives are taken, I am re-traumatized. I know all too well about the unspeakable pain of having someone taken from you instantly, by gun violence! Daily I relive the senseless murder of my beautiful and extraordinary daughter, Detective Tanisha "Tookie" Pughsley, a native of Chicago who worked as a detective for the Montgomery Police Department in Montgomery, Alabama. Here at Tookie's Voice, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place. Since 2021, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities on Domestic Violence and Awareness. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. Tookie's Voice is a 501(3) non-profit organization (88-1196093). Are you ready to join us and create real transformation in the lives of so many?
